If you want to make money with your camera then we suggest you do our commercial photography course if you are still employed and are loking to add an additional revenue stream using your camera.

If you want to enter the field of professional photography full-time, then our Certificate in Photography is suggested (That needs 3 months full time study or commitment to 6 months of part time tuition)

Professional social photography (SP1)

(Includes Wedding Photography course CWP)

Includes our Better D-SLR course material and adds  professional etiquette, law for photographers, videography, handling client meetings, website set-up, business card design, contracts, model releases, studio lighting, location lighting, album preparation, Video Editing/production with supervised shoot on request. 6 x 2 hour classes taken one per week PLUS a mentored shoot on request for first comemrcial assignment booked after or during course. R 5 500.00*

- Mentored shoots  outside the Durban metro area incur added costs for travel and accomodation if not provided/covered by student.

Certificate in Photography (CPC) All of our specific subject courses (theory and practice) plus commercial subject theory and practical (food, wedding, portraiture, schools, fashion, sport, theatrical, aerial/drone usage, photojournalism, vehicles, industrial, news, architecture, landscape, video, business skills/studio management. marketing and web page set-up, letterheads, business cards, contracts, copyright law etc. for your business.)

Includes uncapped mentoring and support, equipment and studio use/hire for all graduates.

1 Months of attendance thee-days per week at the Academy OR  weekly classes after hours for up to 3 months for the CORE component.

KZNPA Certificate in Photography consists of the Professional and Commercial Photography core syllabus compulsory for ALL certificate level delegates at a cost of: R9 850.00

The core syllabus equips delegates with high-level photographic skills and tuition in the business of working as a professional photographer/videographer. 

SPECIALITY ADD-ON MODULES:
Delegates may then choose additional speciality modules from the following to suit their further career goals:

Advertising, food, products, vehicles, aerial and drone, fashion, sport, landscape, wedding, function, corporate, website/packshot, theatrical and  videography/film making.

Each specialization module is an additional R2250 with the exception of videography/film making which is
 R4 500.
